Dr. Lauren Shanard is masterful in the art and science of complex restorative rehabilitation, always with a focus on highly pleasing natural esthetics and function.

With over 30 years of clinical expertise and thousands of hours of advanced study, Dr Shanard creates life-changing smile transformations for people from all walks of life. From organic farmers, clergy, nurses, physicians, dentists, college students, famous musicians, domestic violence partners, housewives, athletes with sports injuries, to even the occasional beauty queen! It's her keen eye, depth of knowledge, and clinical expertise that allow her to create highly individualized smile designs for each and every patient.

Dr. Lauren Shanard is the only Dentist in the State of Vermont and one of only 400 internationally to achieve the prestigious award of Accreditation with the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. She is recognized by her peers and demonstrates a true commitment to clinical excellence.

Dr. Shanard serves as a clinical examiner for the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and has been involved in leadership positions for two decades. Dr Shanard is surgically trained to place implants and to perform complex periodontal surgical procedures. Her focus is on digital dentistry, health and wellness, complex dental rehabilitation, and smile makeovers with porcelain veneers, composite veneers, and ceramic inlays, onlays, and crowns.

In her spare time, Dr. Shanard loves to ski and hike the mountains of Vermont with her son, cycle the backroads, and play with her beloved goldendoodle, Enzo, in the Adirondacks.
